The Demiris Law Firm, P.C gets client stipulated judgment at trial defeating trust contest and more

On March 3, 2022, Konstantine "Kosta" Demiris and Michael A. Schreiber, Esq. of the Demiris Law Firm, P.C. obtained a stipulated judgment on the sixth day of trial approved by the Hon. Virginia M. George in the Contra Costa County Superior Court of California in Case No. MSP20-00453; In Re: the Bowman Family Revocable Trust. The matter involved Petitioner filing a myriad of actions including to contest a trust, objections to accountings, and for fraud against Respondent who was both a trustee and a beneficiary.

At the sixth day of trial, Petitioner's counsel stated on the record that Petitioner was at substantial risk of losing the case, being awarded fees against her as a result of her discovery responses, was at substantial risk of paying costs of suit, and also having the no contest clause enforced against her.

It is documented in the stipulated judgment that Petitioner would get approximately $330,000 less from her share than what she would have obtained had she never filed her legal actions. Attached is the stipulated judgment.
