The Demiris Law Firm, P.C. prevails in defense of plain language of Will against Petition for Entitlement or to Reform Will action pursued by Decedent's brother.




In the matter of the Estate of Barbara Barbour, Contra Costa County Superior Court Case MSP21-01093, the trial Court ruled in favor of the stepson of the Decedent, in a high stakes, case pursued by Decedent's brother for entitlement or reformation of the will.

The trial lasted four days. The "Amended Petition to Determine Entitlement to Estate Distribution or Reform Will" (the "Petition") commenced on October 9, 2023, and continued on October 10, 11, and 12, 2023, in Department 30 of the above-captioned court, the Hon. Virginia M. George, presiding without jury. Konstantine A. Demiris and Michael A. Schreiber, Esq. of The Demiris Law Firm, P.C. represented Decedent's stepson, Anthony Barbour, ("Respondent").

behalf of Petitioner Ralph Cardinale ("Petitioner").
