BOB SOMAL

General Counsel

 

Gurbob "Bob" Somal joined the Demiris Law Firm, P.C. in 2026 and has prior experience in consumer debtor bankruptcy law representing both individuals and small businesses. 

 

He has also worked in the technology sector as an Account Executive and In-House Legal Counsel for a Bay Area software company, providing software advisory services to law firms around the country. 

 

Bob is a native Northern Californian who was born in Walnut Creek, CA and grew up in the Central Valley. He then went to college and law school in Sacramento before relocating back to the Bay Area after graduating. 

 

Bob and his wife have one son and recently adopted a dog from the Tri-Valley Animal Shelter. In his spare time you can find him working out at his local gym or enjoying some of the great food and wine the East Bay has to offer.
